The Boxing Day could be disturbed by mother nature. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement in effect for December 26th.

Environment Canada is tracking the development of a disturbance forecast to develop over Colorado and then track across Quebec early next week.

At this time, snow is expected to develop Monday morning for western regions and to spread toward Central Quebec during the day. The snow will change to ice pellets then to freezing rain and rain over southern regions.

Environment Canada expects significant snowfall for central regions.

Friday morning, Environment Canada published a special weather statement. Weather warnings may be issued over the weekend.

-Sorel – Yamaska area;

-Verchères – Beloeil area;

-Hemmingford area;

-Huntingdon area;

-Saint-Rémi area;

-Vaudreuil area;

-Brome-Missisquoi area;
