Working alongside the award-winning Hudson Music Club, The Rural Arts Project is bringing the best of Broadway to the Grove Hall stage in Huntingdon with Radio Broadway on Saturday, April 9th.

Directed by Andre Marchand alongside Musical Director Sheila Engel Katz, the 20-member cast of singers, dancers and musicians, along with the original set, are fresh off a successful run at the Hudson Village Theatre. Locals can look forward an exclusive performance featuring Broadway favourites from Annie, Anything Goes, South Pacific and a stirring finale from Les Miserables.

Mark Bye, the Creative Director at the Rural Arts Project and co-owner of Grove Hall, invites locals to come be a part of the studio audience as world renowned DJ, Broadway Jimmy, broadcasts his Broadway call-in Radio show LIVE from the stage of Grove Hall. “Its about community interaction,” says Bye.

Locals will be thrilled to see the bassist of The Durham County Poets, Carl Rufh, onstage alongside pianist Linda LaRoche. Rufh describes playing as part of live musical theatre as a “really fulfilling experience.”

Admission is $20. Call 514.791.5100 for reservations or go to www.grovehall.ca to purchase tickets on-line.
