A variety of local products will again be available to consumers at three winter markets which will take place starting in February in the Haut-Saint-Laurent.

These agri-food gatherings, organized by the Marché Fermier du Comté de Huntingdon, are a great opportunity to purchase a variety of fresh, unique products made by local producers and artisans.

« Here you have three unique opportunities to discover local talent and products from the area and have direct contact with the producers, »  remarked Ian Ward, Coordinator of the Farmers’ Market.

The first winter market will take place under a Saint-Valentine’s Day theme in the Saint-Chrysostome Community Centre, at 400, rang Saint-Antoine on Sunday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Two other winter markets are also scheduled for March 12 at the Saint-Joseph Parish Hall in Huntingdon, 13 rue York, and April 9 at the Ormstown Recreation Centre, 87 rue Roy.

Producers who would like to participate can reserve a place by email at [email protected]. A limited number of spaces are available free of charge for local organizations.
