A seven year old girl is hass serioous injuries after being struck by a car on route 201 in Ormstown on Wednesday, August 12 around 1:30 pm.
According to initial reports available, the victim’s injuries appear to be serious since she is likely to be transferred to a hospital in the city. It would appear she was hit while trying to cross route 201 near the Botreaux Range by a woman driving a Mazda.
“Based on the preliminary information available, the child and the driver were taken to the nearest hospital. Sûreté du Québec investigators are at the site to determine the exact cause of the accident” explained Joyce Kemp spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
