The Chateauguay Valley Garden Club’s 25th anniversary was celebrated by a recent trip to view some wonderful gardens of Eastern Ontario.
The first day was spent at the sunny Van Berlo gardens, which featured a backdrop of the St. Lawrence River. A short ferry ride followed to take the company to Waupoos Estates Winery of Prince Edward County. The next morning, the twenty-one members of the club visited the enchanting Maitland Garden of Hope, which featured a registered Monarch Way Station among the gardens and meadows in the company of owner David Cybulski. The garden club members concluded their voyage with a tour of the beautiful town of Merrickville and the Rideau Woodland Ramble Garden.
