The music scene is alive and well in the Chateauguay Valley. On Saturday, April 23rd, the Zion United Church in Dundee held their annual Old Time Country and Fiddle Afternoon fundraiser.

The event inspired locals to hit the dance floor for a little over three hours, all while enjoying freshly brewed coffee and locally baked squares. According to Dundee’s Janice Barr, “It was a great afternoon…there was even a little bit of step-dancing!” Admission was only ten dollars, with all proceeds being filtered back into the church.

The Neil Mackay Band was present (consisting of guitarist Kent Sutton, vocalist Jeannie Arsenault and bassist Robert Craig), while Stewart Burrows, Gary Snowman, Francie Arthur and Amos Martin made guest appearances.
