Chateauguay Valley residents can get ready to shake off the winter blues with more than eight hours of live music. The third annual Saint-Urbain-Premier’s Folklore Gala will take place on Sunday, March 6th, beginning at 12:30 P.M.

Leading the afternoon will be Saint-Urbain’s own Neil Mackay, followed by a number of honoured guests. Set to take place at the community centre (located at 9 rue l’École in Saint-Urbain-Premier), the event will carry into the evening, wrapping up by 8:00 P.M. This year’s theme will explore local traditions, with over 40 musicians set to take the stage, including local pianist Germain Leduc and Napierville’s Danielle Couture, while Jean-Guy Ste-Marie will emcee the gala.

Last year’s event attracted a little over 250 people, so be sure to arrive early to take in some of the talent that the Valley has to offer. Enjoy drinks at the bar, refreshments and a BBQ supper, all of which will be for sale during the show. Tickets are $8 and may be purchased at the door.
