Return of rides to Huntingdon Fair
From August 7-9, the Huntingdon Fair will celebrate its 187th edition. The festive ambience, twinned with high-level agricultural competitions, will certainly know how to animate the children's hearts of big and little ones alike.
The rides will be back in 2015 and one can try as many as one likes with the purchase of an admission ticket at the cost of $15 per day or $30 for the entire weekend. Bumping cars, Russian mountains for the young ones and another haunted house will know how to amuse visitors of all ages on Fairview Road, behind the Huntingdon Arena.
Must-see events
Several activities and competitions are proposed to entertain the entire family. To start the weekend, the people will first be able to attend a parade of antique tractors and tractor pulls on grass Friday night. On Saturday, tractor pulls will continue in different categories, and the participants will see the best pullers from the Quebec Sports Association of Tractor Pulls (ASTTQ) at work. A demolition derby starring several drivers from the region will follow on Sunday.
The youngest spectators will also benefit from a new agricultural circuit from farm to market, pony rides, farm animals and domestic animal shows. Their parents will be able to participate in volleyball tournaments and make discoveries from among exhibitors present.
